The start to 2021 has been memorable in so many ways already, the weather being no exception. The snowfall that we have had has been phenomenal. There have been beautiful serene days where the sky is the perfect shade of blue, the ground glistening pure uninterrupted white over the lawns, rocky outcrops and within the woodlands. We have had turbulent days of high winds, where daylight never seemed to arrive and the murkiness of the melting snow faded into the grey skies above. Then there has been spectacular pink sunrises and sunsets that lit up the white world with a glorious glow.

I hope that these photographs have in some way captured the essence of January so far here at Warren Forest. Once the snow has disappeared there will be a grand clear up to do. The weight of the snow has bought down debris and branches that need to be cleared alongside the many other winter chores to be undertaken.

It is cheering to see the glimpse of the daffodil shoots beginning to emerge near the summerhouse, promising a Spring that will eventually arrive. We really hope that you enjoy the photographs. We trust that all of our customers are continuing to keep safe and healthy as we sit out this current lockdown with hope for the new season ahead. With all best wishes from us all.
