The Library has had a re-fresh this winter. When the season end, the table in the library groans under the weight of returned books, DVD’s, jigsaws and magazines that are returned or donated. Inevitably, we acquire duplicates and sometimes even triplicates of our most popular authors which need filtering out to make space for the next influx. We have lots of new additions, and I have had a good clear out to make plenty of space for all of the books that will be returned and donated in March.
Stocked with a healthy batch of walking guides, wildlife & bird-spotting books as well as a wealth of fiction and non fiction, we are confident there is something for everyone!
We hope this space continues to be as popular this coming season. Hosting our social events and as a central place for people to meet, walk from and have a hot drink together. The Library & Putting Green create a real village atmosphere, with the library at the heart of it.
We appreciate the generosity of our holiday home owners for their donations and for the respectful way the kitchen is used too. We hope 2026 sees many happy times in our wonderful Library.
