After weeks of fog, mist and rain, it was a delightful relief to see the sunshine at the weekend. This was the perfect opportunity to take a walk through one of our favourite woodland walks here at Warren Forest, Jeffrey Wood. This circular walk from the library, through the woodland and back to the Putting Green Pond is beautiful at any time of year. Soon after opening, we will see the first bluebells appear, followed by the rhododendrons and foxgloves. It is in these woods that you will hear and catch sight of the first lapwings and curlews of the season in the neighbouring fields.

A haven for nature, we certainly hope our deer, badgers and hedgehogs all make an appearance on our wildlife camera. With a wooden bench placed halfway around the walk, you are invited to sit and listen, watch and absorb the nature of the forest. We also invite the sheep back into our fields and greatly look forward to the spring lambs that will begin to arrive over the coming weeks.

Our grounds, woodlands, Putting Green and Library are all exclusively for the use of Warren Forest Holiday Home owners so you can be assured of peace and tranquility. There are more photos to come as the trees begin to spring into life!
