It appears that everyone is delighted with the newly refurbished fountain and enjoying the sound of the water falling. The fish seem to be especially happy. These warm, sunny June days have been the perfect opportunity to sit on the patio of the library and enjoy a cuppa, or venture over to the benches by the pond to take in the tranquil sounds, admire the beauty of the water lilies and watch the fish. Remember that putters and balls are available to borrow from the red telephone box, the perfect way to spend a summers evening.

For those of you fancying a short ride out, we absolutely recommend Pateley Bridge. A bustling place on the river Nidd with an array of independent shops, cafes and fabulous walks. On Sundays, you will find that the bandstand hosts a variety of musicians throughout the summer. Sometimes a brass band, and always entertaining offering a wonderful atmosphere to the park.

Only a short drive from us here at Warren Forest, we thoroughly suggest spending some time there. We guarantee you will come back with something delicious.
