April has been and gone and along with it the Easter Bank Holiday. The Park being so quiet at this time of year is so strange. The only sound above that of the birds, comes from Peter who is still exceptionally busy. The intention is to maintain everything to the usual high standards ready for when we are eventually allowed to raise the barrier once more.
It is blooming here at Warren Forest. The recent rainfall combined with the beautiful sunshine and unusually high temperatures have ensured that the foliage and planting is coming along magnificently. Many of the rhododendrons are already in full bloom and if not the buds are ripening. Pateley Bridge is certainly blooming! The colour and texture of the flowers lining the high street are spectacular.
