Well it has been a stunning weekend in Nidderdale. It has been simply perfect to relax, take a leisurely walk and really enjoy owning a holiday home here at Warren Forest. It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying the glorious sunshine! BBQ’s, tinkling wine glasses, and Al Fresco afternoon tea was all taking place throughout the park.
The putting green was opened in good time for our resident putters to enjoy, and many of you did! There has been an explosion of green all around us interspersed with beautiful colour. On and around the park you will witness the hazy blankets of bluebells, some of our favourites are at the famous bluebell woods in Ripley! The bright sunshine heads of the dandelions, delicate daisies and buttercups are scattered and around. Bees, birds and butterflies are in full swing. The dawn chorus may beginning to give you an earlier than required alarm!!
It was also the weekend of the Tour de Yorkshire. The third day of the event passed very closely by us. Lee and I went to watch from Skell Gill, locally known as Devils Elbow. It was a fabulous atmosphere as spectators cheered on the peloton. There are some photographs in the gallery below that capture a little flavour of the weekend. Take a look on the Facebook page for more photographs and videos.
