The barrier is in place, the holiday homes are drained down and prepared for winter and we find ourselves into the our closed season.
Wet, misty with fluctuating temperatures, the park is, mulchy with fallen leaves creating much work to be done. In addition, work is under way to create parking spaces for the new caravans arriving over the coming weeks, all heavy, noisy work is saved for this time of year.
When you can see further than a hand in front and the mist lifts, there are still promises of glorious sunrises and sunsets. The wildlife that hasn’t yet hibernated are to be heard and seen. The call of the pheasants, the hoot of the owls and the deer make a shy return.
We reflect upon another season completed and hope that you have enjoyed your season here at Warren Forest. Below are some photographs taken on the park and in the surrounding area. Remember to keep an eye on our social media pages for more updates over the winter and we look forward to launching our new YouTube channel in the new year!
