Thank you to everyone who attended our cheese and wine social. Particular thanks go to Julia of NiddWay Catering for creating spectacular and delicious boards of cheese, nibbles and those infamous fruit skewers! Not forgetting the scrumptious as well as beautiful cupcakes made by our very own holiday home owner Jane of Bojangles cake design.
In a crossover between books and cakes, Jane recently baked a book shaped cake for author Milly Johnson to celebrate her most recent release. Milly Johnson is absolutely one of our most popular authors too, so it is a pleasure to share these delightful photos from the event!
With only a couple of weeks left of the season, we are soaking up and enjoying any opportunity to get outside and experience the glorious colours on show. The Beeches are aflame again this year with those glorious red tones. There is still a lot of birdsong to be enjoyed, my phone app identified the wren, robin, skylark, long-tailed tit, blackbird & blue tit while taking a walk through Jeffrey Wood. We were also gifted with a spectacular rainbow this week that arched over the Larches and Badger Hill
