The forecast is set and we are busy readying to re-open on Thursday.

We hope that you have enjoyed the photos and videos shared over the winter months on social media and the web site. The most recent pictures are below for your enjoyment.

Our twenty ninth winter here at Warren Forest has just passed and we look forward to another memory filled season ahead. Opening weekend is busy in the local area for those of you that may be interested in venturing out.

The Knaresborough Tractor Run in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance takes place on Sunday. The spectacle has become a permanent fixture in the local calendar and raises thousands of pounds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The run usually takes place on the second weekend in March, but due to Mother’s Day and following an online vote, for 2024 it was pushed back to 17th March.

With the numbers that now take part, over 370 last year, the day begins at the showground in Harrogate and then weaves it’s way through to Pateley Bridge for lunch, before setting off and heading back to Knaresborough. For more details take a look at the link;

Also taking place this weekend is a new event in the local spa town of Harrogate – The Beam Light Festival.

Harrogate International Festivals write;

“Brand new for 2024! A two-night spectacular will illuminate the town centre on 15 and 16 March, with stunning light installations and soundscapes creating a trail through Harrogate town centre. Visitors can explore the town’s streets to see the light installations come to life and enjoy some of Harrogate’s great hospitality businesses along the way. Evenings from dusk til 10pm, the installations will shine a light in a few unexpected places as well as illuminating some of the town’s most iconic landmarks. From thousands of specks of light dancing in the trees of the Valley Gardens and searchlights beaming patterns across the sky, to a serene celebration of our more tranquil spaces, our ten unique illuminations will create a rich and varied spectacle throughout the town.”

It’s free to visit, so why not brighten up the last of the winter evenings with a unique celebration of our beautiful town.
