Preparations

A week before opening and preparations are well under way!

The Library is as inviting as ever. With over two thousand titles to choose from covering fiction, reference and  biographies in both hard back and paperback, we are confident any avid reader will not be disappointed. The jigsaws have been refreshed and some new games added. There are plenty of maps, guides and books about the local area too, which some of our new customers may find particularly helpful.

Once again we would like to extend a huge thank you to those people who have donated books throughout last season. They have all been in excellent condition and very well received. If you have books to return or any to donate please feel free to leave them in the boxes under the table.

For those of you that haven’t seen the aerial photographs in the library they document some of the changes seen here over the last twenty seven years of our ownership. Copies are below for your enjoyment along with some photographs of the library ready for your return. We look forward to long warm days relaxing at the front of the library too.

Please remember that the tourist information room next to reception is stocked with leaflets for attractions, things to do and places to visit.
