Storm Ciara has certainly made an impact on the surrounding area here at Warren Forest. With high winds and floods that raised water levels that threatened to breach the defenses in Pateley Bridge the weather has certainly been dramatic.

In contrast, we have had some beautiful sunshine, blue skies and quite mild temperatures that mean that the promise of Spring is evident on the park. The snowdrops gently adorning the roadsides, and the shoots of our later flowering daffodils are standing tall.

Work is continuing on the new library in preparation that the shell will be complete in time for us opening in March and there is a general hustle and bustle as preparations are made as the season draws nearer.
