Thank you so much to those of you that have completed questionnaires that we left in the library. Approximately a quarter of our lovely Holiday Home owners got involved and your feedback is priceless.

We have been able to collate a really good list of recommendations of places to walk, eat and shop which we hope will be interesting to new and existing customers.

In addition, we now know that many of our customers are Social Media Savvy and are enjoying the posts and photographs on our Warren Forest Facebook page, with Instagram being a close second!

It was no surprise to realise that the majority of you are National Trust members! Nestled between the two amazing National Trust sites of Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey we are confident your membership cards are very well used. Other attractions that were really popular were Harolw Carr Gardens, Thorp Perrow, Kipling Hall, Wensleydale cheese factory, Newby Hall, The Himalayan Gardens and Ripley Castle and Gardens. For those of you that haven’t yet explored these local attractions, you will find brochures and leaflets in the Tourist Information room next to Reception and in the Library.

Your favorite “things to do” while you are staying in your Holiday Home included: Walking, exploring the Dales and local area, eating out, shopping, reading & relaxing, dog walking, putting, cycling, photography, crafts, card making and socialising with other friends who own a caravan at Warren Forest.

YOUR recommendations of the many places to visit, walk or shop include;

The woodland walks around Warren Forest, The Nidderdale Way, The walk from the Warren Forest to Brimham Rocks, along the rivers in Ripon, Pateley Bridge and Knaresborough, Bewerly, Hawes, Hebden, Grassington, Sutton Bank, East Coast, Burnsall and the North York Moors. You love to potter around and shop in Ripon, Harrogate, Pateley Bridge, Ripley, Skipton, Knaresborough, Ilkley, Leyburn, Northallerton and York.
