It’s been glorious here on the park this weekend! The sun has shone and the sky has been blue, it’s certainly felt like Spring. The snow drops are still in abundance and the daffodils, despite the cold temperatures, are beginning to show signs of life.

It has been lovely to see many familiar faces back for the first time this season. Lunches and coffee out on the deckings, people taking walks around the park and catching up with friends has really added to the atmosphere. We would like to thank those of you that have returned so far for being so considerate of the grass. We hope to keep the lawns as luscious and green as we can. We really appreciate your support. In addition, thank you to the many of you who have once again donated some really exceptional books to the library. After making some spaces on the shelves Lynn and I will be busy stamping and organising them for everyone’s enjoyment!

We expect it to be a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Easter is a popular time in the local area, there are so many attractions and places to visit. The Tourist Information and Library is freshly stocked with up to date leaflets and brochures of places to visit and things to do. You will also find information in the library regarding local walks and recommended places to Eat Out. If you have a great afternoon tea, meal or coffee out and about, bring a menu back and add it to the file!

We will be featuring local towns and villages over the coming weeks, focusing on one at a time. In the meantime don’t forget to check our Facebook page where we regularly share upcoming events in the local area. We are lucky to be situated in the heart of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where we are spoiled for choice for things to do while you are staying at your holiday home. We look forward to sharing some of our favorites with you.

We are delighted that the photos we share in this post have been taken from the weekend……Spring really has arrived!
