The clock is ticking as we count down to the incredibly exciting cycling event that is the UCI Road World Championships!

The UCI Road World Championships are the World Cup of cycling, when riders race for their nation and the privilege of wearing the World Champion’s jersey, the Rainbow Stripes.

The 2019 World Championships will take place in Yorkshire, Great Britain and every race will end each day in the elegant spa town of Harrogate.

Harrogate will be become the very centre of Yorkshire’s  cycling renaissance on the roads that hosted the Tour de France in 2014 and changed how the world saw Yorkshire forever for nine days of epic racing and competition.

Starting across the four counties of Yorkshire every race of the Championships will end in the centre of Harrogate, alongside the 200 acre Stray, which will be the location of the official exciting Fan Zone throughout the Championships.

There are activities taking place each day in celebration of the event. For a full schedule of events, road closures and activities take a look at;
