During the closed season we have the opportunity at the weekend to get out and about in the surrounding area and enjoy some of the beautiful countryside on our doorstep. This week we headed over to Grimwith Reservoir. On the very edge of Nidderdale driving out of Pateley Bridge it is approximately a thirty minute journey. After a bracing 4 mile walk around the water, we headed to the newly refurbished cafe at Stump Cross Caverns for hot chocolate and brownies!
