We would like to wish all of our customers a very Happy New Year.

The winter thus far has been quite kind and hasn’t proved a problem for gaining access to the park. If there is snow or a cold snap we will keep the website and social media updated for those of you wishing to visit before we open in March.

January may mean frosty winter days, early dusks, and bare trees and hedges, but that also means it’s easier to see flocks of birds and other wildlife.

For some great ideas for walks and nature hunts in January in North Yorkshire, including Nidderdale take a look at https://www.northyorkmoors.org.uk/visiting/see-and-do/nature-calendar/january

For a calendar of events in January including Cinema in the Dales showing Downton Abbey and Brimham Rocks through the ages explore the website https://www.northyorkmoors.org.uk/visiting/see-and-do/nature-calendar/january

My favourite photo of the month has been the heart shaped puddle that I took up near the Anvil at Brimham Rocks on New Years Day! If you take any great photographs please remember to e-mail them to me.
