Last weekend we opened the new Library for our residents. We left a bottle of wine for the first entrant to celebrate the opening. Mrs Harmston, pictured below, was the lucky recipient and sent an e-mail to thank us entitled; “the early bird catches the wine”!! That early morning walk and trip to the library really did pay off! Cheers!!
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the abundance of beautiful books that have been donated already this season. Lynn and I will stamp them and get them on the shelves in the days to come. We are confident that if you have a favourite author or interest, you will find a book to suit you. In addition, please feel free to borrow any dvd’s, jigsaws or games that may be of interest.
Within the first two weeks of re-opening we have welcomed almost all of our holiday home owners back to Warren Forest. We have enjoyed some glorious weather, and some recent rainfall seems to have accelerated springtime! Buds are ripening and the canopies of the trees in the gardens and woodlands greening up nicely.
We are looking forward to a long weekend as our first bank holiday of the season is upon us. It is a joy to see so many of our customers out walking, sat on decking’s enjoying the sunshine and catching up with old friends and neighbours. The park is back to being a haven of tranquility with the gentle buzz of atmosphere that comes with your return.
The Putting Green is now open for play and you will find golf balls and putters in the red telephone box should you need them.
I hope you enjoy the photographs below. They have been taken in and around the park since we re-opened. For more videos and pictures, please remember to check our social media pages.
