The summer season is in full swing in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Nidderdale is no exception, as an area of outstanding natural beauty it draws people from far and wide. You will see the hive of activity in the local rural area, and while the local villages are bustling with visitors, Warren Forest continues to be a haven of peace and tranquility. The hedgerows are beginning to bear fruit and there is just a hint of gold in the leaves.

As the summer progresses and another Bank Holiday is on the horizon, it is lovely to see the park being so thoroughly enjoyed. The putting green is well used day and early evening while the days are still long and warm. The bedding plants are blooming, and the pond is a hive of activity for wildlife.

The Library continues to be popular as each day there are books, jigsaws and dvd’s returned. The seating on the patio areas continues to be a favored place to read, relax and enjoy the view.  Thank you to our holiday home owners that have made such generous donations this season, they are very much appreciated.

Please enjoy these photographs of the Putting Green, or even better, take a stroll around it yourself. You my even be tempted to borrow a putter from the red telephone box and play!
