On this day two years ago, we had to inform the holiday home owners that had set up for a new season that we were going to have make the unprecedented decision to close the park. This was due to the Covid-19 pandemic that the world found itself immersed in. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and it seemed a surreal set of events.

Today, as we look out across the park on this two year anniversary of that event, we can’t help but reflect. It seems unreal that the surrounding roads were deserted, all local attractions and shops were closed and our holiday home owners couldn’t visit their caravans.

We hope that March 2022 marks a brighter season, that the weather allows time for woodland walks, BBQ’s and afternoon teas out on the patios and decking’s.

Below are some photographs taken during the lockdown period that may be of interest, enjoy!
